Coding Blocks and Nagarro have come together to organize a series of technelogy based webinars called Technology Awaresness Program, or TAP. The first of these webinars is on August 6, and is on the topic of Internet of Things. The webinar is free of cost, and will be beneficial for IoT enthusiasts.

Nagarro in association with Coding Blocks is organizing a Hackathon for college students. It will allow participants to test, demonstrate and improve their programming skills. The first prize for the hackathon is a whopping ₹ 1 lakh. It will be extremely useful for budding hackers and coders. All details on the link below.

KOTLIN WEBINAR

Coding Blocks organized a Live Webinar on our YouTube channel on July 12 to help our followers with the implementation of Kotlin in Android. Google announced support for Kotlin during its I/O event earlier this year, and we at Coding Blocks decided to stay updated with the times. The webinar was conducted by Arnav Gupta and was very well received by budding Android developers.

BITMASKING WEBINAR

Coding Blocks organized a Live Webinar on our YouTube channel on July 3 to help our followers with Bitmasking and Interview problems. Bitwise operators are the most efficient operators when it comes to speed, and many new concepts and techniques were discussed in the webinar. The webinar was conducted by Prateek Narang and was very well received by all attendees.

CODING BLOCKS GETS NEW TALENT

Coding Blocks conducted CAST 2.0 for admission to our foundation courses. The aptitude based test was held on July 23 and attempted by over 600 students. Through this test, Coding Blocks has awarded scholarships of up to 75% off the course fees of foundation courses.

BOOTCAMPS ORGANIZED

COMPETITIVE CODING

Coding Blocks conducted another succesful bootcamp on Competitive Programming last month. It was conducted by Prateek Narang and other mentors. The bootcamp helped budding coders grasp important concepts (Number Theory, Segment Trees, Lazy Propagation, Bitmasking, Dynamic Programming and Game Theory) while solving many sample problems.

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

Coding Blocks organized a Bootcamp on Interview Preparation to give third and fourth year students a Midas touch before their final placements. It was conducted by Arnav Gupta and Rajesh Sachdev where we covered non-tech topics such as Operating System, DBMS, System Design, etc. asked in various company interviews. Students even got a mock skype interview to get a real world feel of the procedure.
